Mr. Michael Thomas Masasila is a Policy Analyst at the Agricultural Council of Tanzania (ACT), where he contributes to the advancement of evidence-based policies that promote sustainable agricultural development and private sector growth in Tanzania. ACT is the national umbrella organization representing private sector stakeholders in agriculture and advocates for a competitive, inclusive, and enabling policy environment for the sector.

In his role, Mr. Masasila is involved in analyzing agricultural policies, legislation, and regulatory frameworks that affect agribusinesses, farmers, and value chain actors. He supports policy research, prepares analytical reports and policy briefs, and provides recommendations that strengthen agricultural productivity, improve market access, and enhance the business environment for the private sector.
